SUPPORT FOR PRECISION FARMING DEVELOPMENTS RELATED TO THE DIGITAL TRANSITION OF AGRICULTURE
Project ID number: 3300262215
Within the framework of the Partnership Agreement concluded with the European Union, the Government of Hungary has set the objective of improving the sustainability and overall performance of agricultural holdings. The call aims to increase the competitiveness and value-added production of arable farming and the horticultural sectors, to promote the spread of new horticultural and digital arable technologies and precision methods, to encourage the use of services related to precision farming, and to give priority support to investments planned by young farmers.
Under the call entitled “Support for precision farming developments related to the digital transition of agriculture” (code number VP2-4.1.8-21), which has a total budget of HUF 100 billion and was announced within the Rural Development Programme, ifj. Fazekas Miklós Family Farm of Primary Producers has been found eligible for support and will therefore receive a non-refundable grant of HUF 56,056,000 at an aid intensity of 50%, with total eligible costs of HUF 112,112,000. The grant will be used to purchase 1 JD T560 combine harvester, which, together with the use of precision farming services, supports the digital transition of agriculture and the efficiency of production and contributes to the introduction of precision farming. Using the data generated, and with the help of the new machinery and the services introduced, farming becomes more efficient and more environmentally conscious, in line with present-day requirements.
